Gatehouse Attendant

About the Role:

Randstad are currently seeking reliable and customer-focused Gatehouse Attendant for a Local Council located in the Northern Suburbs. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This position offers ad-hoc hours to work as needed based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring all visitors and vehicles comply with entry requirements.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, responding to inquiries and directing visitors as needed.
• Accurately record vehicle and load details, process payments (if applicable), and issue receipts.
• Maintain the cleanliness and security of the gatehouse area.
• Casual adhoc hours

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
• The ability to work independently and handle routine tasks efficiently.
• Basic computer skills and experience handling payments
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• A current driver’s licence
